hadley hands

i remember an instant sense of comfort when we first met. we met in the home of the lovely beth rudin – where i sang for a special artistic celebration. we bonded on a white couch. today i was your art model. i loved it. being in your studio was a sweet meditation. and on monday, you sketched me and we shared pink cake at such a classy cafe. yummm. ease. pleasurable. and good art and heart. in your company, i feel safe and comfortable; able to surrender in my sweet active stillness bliss. the painting you started today is classic. hadley nunes brings good tunes with vg. it is a pleasure to be with you and our time together bares fruit of natural magic.

hadley’s words:

Day 1. Broken saucer hat rim shape, your left ear lobe lines up with C curve nostril left side. Tweed coat button hole, shadow pocket leads to crescent collar, edge draws S all the way back up to the top of the top hat through shadow meeting between lips, hard edge line from jaw to brim, back around behind hat making a spiral across front to slight tilt and squeeze of brim and the body of the hat, centered by nose and lapel edge. love in your eyes is a steady point of reference.

Day 2. I went in too, the work. Good. Solid position. Active stillness is so accurate. You were a striking beauty in suit jacket with vest, light hitting from left, the underside of hat brim making wedge of cold brown on one side and light warm amber on the other. Your eyes open. Conclude session. You end up in a good architecture made by space on right and door frame left.
